The Experience

What You'll Feel

Week 1

Evening Calm

Magnesium glycinate begins crossing the blood-brain barrier and supporting GABA receptor activity. Most notice a subtle calming effect in the evenings — not sedating, just quieter. Some fall asleep a little faster in the first week.

Week 2

Sleep Deepening

Sleep quality measurably improves. Most report falling asleep faster, fewer night wakings, and waking more genuinely rested. The glycinate component is actively supporting inhibitory neurotransmitter pathways that govern sleep depth.

Week 3

Muscle Ease

Muscle cramps and tension — particularly overnight — begin to ease. Physical recovery after training improves as magnesium supports neuromuscular relaxation and reduces cellular damage markers post-exercise.

Week 4

Nervous System Set

The parasympathetic nervous system is better supported. Anxiety, tension, and reactive stress all feel more manageable day-to-day as HPA axis regulation improves and cortisol levels begin to decline overnight.

Week 6

Compound Rest

Sleep architecture has meaningfully improved. Deep sleep stages are longer, and morning fatigue is substantially reduced. Magnesium levels in tissue are now consistently repleted after prior deficiency.

Week 8

New Sleep Baseline

Most people at this stage report dramatically improved sleep quality and morning recovery. Faster onset, deeper sleep, and calmer evenings are now the new normal rather than something they have to work for.

Week 12+

Your Recovery Floor

Deep sleep, muscle recovery, and nervous system regulation are consistently supported at a higher baseline. Magnesium deficiency — which affects up to 50% of adults — is now fully corrected and maintained.

The Formula

Why Our Magnesium

Most magnesium supplements use magnesium oxide — the cheapest form available, with elemental absorption rates as low as 4% in clinical comparisons, meaning the vast majority of what you swallow is excreted unchanged. It's also the form most responsible for the osmotic laxative effect that gives magnesium its reputation for GI side effects.

Ours uses magnesium bisglycinate — a chelated form in which magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine, improving intestinal absorption, bypassing the osmotic mechanism responsible for GI discomfort, and leveraging glycine's own GABAergic calming activity for additional sleep and stress support.

The Science

Evidence-Based Formulation

Every ingredient in Magnesium is based on peer-reviewed clinical research — magnesium bisglycinate at a therapeutic dose, the most bioavailable and gentle form for sleep, stress and muscle recovery.

01 Magnesium Supplementation and Subjective Anxiety and Stress A systematic review found magnesium supplementation reduces subjective anxiety in individuals with mild-to-moderate anxiety, particularly in those with lower magnesium status. Magnesium modulates the HPA axis, regulates cortisol release, and supports GABA receptor function, collectively contributing to its anxiolytic effects. ↓ anxiety View study 02 Oral Magnesium Supplementation for Insomnia in Older Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis A meta-analysis of 3 RCTs found magnesium supplementation reduced time to fall asleep by ~17 minutes versus placebo and improved total sleep time by ~16 minutes — offering a low-risk approach to improving sleep onset and duration in older adults. ↓ sleep onset View study 03 Magnesium Intake and Bone Mineral Density Population-level analysis found dietary magnesium intake was significantly associated with bone mineral density at multiple skeletal sites in both sexes. Individuals in the highest intake quartile had meaningfully greater bone density than those in the lowest, making magnesium an important modifiable factor for fracture prevention. ↑ bone density View study 04 Magnesium's Role in Neuromuscular and Metabolic Function A comprehensive review established magnesium as a cofactor for over 300 enzymatic reactions with critical roles in ATP synthesis, muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and glucose metabolism. Deficiency impairs neuromuscular function and metabolic regulation, making adequate magnesium fundamental to physical performance. ↑ enzymatic reactions View study 05 Magnesium Supplementation and Blood Pressure Reduction: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis A meta-analysis of 38 RCTs found magnesium supplementation reduced systolic blood pressure by 2.81 mmHg and diastolic by 2.05 mmHg versus placebo, with greater reductions in hypertensive individuals and those with low baseline magnesium. ↓ blood pressure View study 06 The Effect of Magnesium Supplementation on Primary Insomnia in the Elderly: A Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial An 8-week double-blind RCT of 500mg magnesium in elderly adults with insomnia found significant improvements in sleep duration, sleep efficiency, sleep onset time, and Insomnia Severity Index scores, with serum melatonin rising and cortisol falling significantly versus placebo. ↑ sleep efficiency View study

Usage

How to Take It

01

3 Capsules Daily in the Evening

Take 3 capsules every evening with water, 30–60 minutes before bed. Evening dosing aligns with the body's natural wind-down phase when magnesium's muscle-relaxing and sleep-supporting effects are most beneficial.

02

With or After Dinner

Magnesium bisglycinate is well-tolerated with food. Taking with or after dinner reduces any chance of nausea and fits naturally into an evening routine without needing an empty stomach.

03

Stay Consistent for 2–4 Weeks

Sleep quality, muscle relaxation, and nervous system support all build progressively. Most people notice a meaningful difference within the first 1–2 weeks, with full effects established after consistent daily use.

Magnesium glycinate is the form that actually works for sleep and this product uses exactly that. Falling asleep faster, staying asleep, and waking up genuinely recovered. This is now a nightly essential.

I switched from magnesium oxide to this and the difference is night and day. No digestive discomfort, much deeper sleep, and the muscle tension I used to carry into bed has basically gone.

Night cramps that had been an issue for years have basically stopped. Sleep is deeper and I feel more genuinely rested in the morning. Simple supplement done properly — the glycinate form is the key.

Noticed a difference the first night — evenings are genuinely calmer and I fall asleep faster than I have in years. The muscle relaxation effect is real too. Four stars only because I wish I'd started sooner.

Stress and sleep were both problems for me. The calming effect of magnesium glycinate in the evening is real — evenings are quieter, I fall asleep more easily, and I wake up feeling rested instead of wired.

400mg elemental magnesium at the correct therapeutic dose in the proper chelated form. This is what magnesium supplementation should look like. Simple, clean, and genuinely effective.

I train hard four days a week and the muscle recovery benefit alongside the sleep improvement has been significant. Less soreness carrying over, deeper sleep, and more consistent energy in the morning.

Anxious evenings have become noticeably calmer since starting this. The nervous system effect of magnesium glycinate is real and unlike anything I got from cheaper magnesium forms. My new favourite supplement.

Takes magnesium seriously — the glycinate form, the right elemental dose, a clean label. Woke up genuinely rested for the first time in months within about two weeks of starting. Will never run out of this.

The gentleness on the digestive system compared to oxide or citrate is immediately obvious. No gut discomfort, just better sleep and calmer evenings. Exactly what magnesium should be.
